The Implant Placement Process

Personalized Consultation

01

Every implant journey starts with a comprehensive consultation with our team. We use advanced 3D CBCT imaging to evaluate your jaw, bone levels, and surrounding anatomy. We’ll also take photographs and digital intraoral scans to help us visualize and design your new smile from the very beginning. With your goals, health needs, and budget in mind, we create a fully custom plan—so you know exactly what to expect. If bone or gum grafting is needed for long-term success, we’ll walk you through every option before you get started.

Healing and Follow-Up Care

03

Healing time varies depending on the type of treatment you choose:

Snap-In Denture Solutions: Your implants will be placed and left to heal beneath the gums for 3–6 months. We'll provide you with a comfortable traditional, removable denture during this time, so you’re never without teeth. Once healing is complete, we’ll take new scans and create a custom overdenture that securely snaps into place.

Fixed Full-Arch Solutions: You’ll go home to rest the evening of surgery, and return the next day for your 3D-printed interim smile the very next day. After 3–6 months of healing, we’ll take new scans and refine the design to craft your final, permanent bridge.

We want to make the process easy for you so we're always guided by your comfort, timeline, and long-term success. If you have any questions or concerns, we're just a phone call away.

Your Final Restoration

04

Once healing is complete, we’ll place your final restoration—a beautiful, natural-looking crown, bridge, or full-arch prosthetic designed and crafted in our on-site lab. From bite to brightness, it’s customized just for you, and made to last.

What Services Are Included
in Smile Makeovers?

Single-Tooth Implants

This implant option is often used to treat patients missing a small number of teeth. Single-tooth implants consist of three parts: the implant that acts as an artificial tooth root, the connector piece called the abutment, and the crown that acts as an artificial tooth.

Full-Arch Implants

Full-arch implants use a series of 4-6 implants that are placed in the upper, lower, or both arches of your teeth. These implants are used to support a removable implant-supported denture or a non-removable fixed bridge.

Am I a candidate for dental implants?

Most patients who are in reasonably good health and want a permanent solution to missing teeth are candidates for dental implants. Even if you’ve been told you don’t have enough bone, our team can offer grafting and alternative approaches. We also offer consultations for patients with past trauma, jaw reconstruction, or long-term tooth loss.
