Since Kindergarten, Dr. Tori knew that she wanted to become a dentist. Her curiosity for medicine and working with people turned into a passion, which she followed all the way to college.She graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelors in Biology and a Minor in Public Health. She then went on to earn her DMD from the University of Kentucky.  

One of Dr. Tori’s favorite things about dentistry is being able to improve a patient’s oral health and emotional well-being through transformative cosmetic work. She is Invisalign certified and offers Botox treatments to help give patients the smiles they’ve always dreamed of. Dr. Tori also loves creating a fun and trusting environment for kids of all ages.

After falling in love with the Knoxville area, Drs. Luis and Tori moved to Farragut to serve the community through dentistry, with a mission to treat every patient like family. When Dr. Luis was 7, he moved to the USA from Brazil with his family. His passion to help others, interest in science, and creating things with his hands, led him to pursue dentistry. Dr. Luis met his wife, Dr. Tori while attending a pre-dental conference at the University of South Florida, where he earned his Bachelors degree in Biology. After undergrad, they both applied to dental schools across the country in hopes of attending together. They were both accepted into their top choice, the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry.

Since earning his DMD from the University of Kentucky, Dr. Luis has expanded his implant knowledge through a number of courses such as, Implant Pathway where he helped provide dental care for Veterans in Arizona and was invited back to instruct. He also trained at McCracken Implant Education in Alabama. He was awarded a fellowship from the ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantologists) and the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics in 2018.

After graduating from Creighton University dental school and serving as a decorated officer in the United States Army Dental Corp. Dr. Mercer returned home to California to practice dentistry with his father. They created a unique and well-respected practice in Sacramento and operated it for more than 20 years.

Dr. Mercer's passion has always been to assist his patients in achieving and maintaining their optimal dental health and "Smile" goals in the most gentle, and compassionate way possible.

Dr. Mercer also holds certificates in nutrition and personal training and his favorite hobbies include exercise and reading. His favorite things though are spending time with his wife Tina, his two children, and their three dogs. Now that he has moved to the beautiful Knoxville area we are so excited to have him as part of our team.

Dr. Ramin Heidari earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. His post-grad training includes advanced implant training including surgical and prosthetic components. He is also certified in IV and oral sedation.

Dr. Heidari has a passion for implant dentistry and smile makeovers. He has completed thousands of surgeries on patients, creating a drastic improvement in patient’s smiles. He has volunteered countless hours and provided dental care to the under-served. He has many clinical interests including bone grafting, dental implants, and dental extractions/dentoalveolar surgery. He has a steadfast dedication in creating the best smile possible for all his patients.

Dr. Heidari is from Nashville, Tennessee. He is fluent in English and Farsi. Aside from his passion for dentistry, he is a foodie, enjoys sports, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.

Hi, my name is Chelsie! I am the insurance/billing coordinator for the office. I was born and raised in a small town of Bigelow in Arkansas. I started my dental journey when I was 18. After getting my license to be a registered dental assistant I discovered my true passion was the insurance and administration part of the practice. In my free time I love to spend time with my 3 beautiful children, reading,and cuddling with our havanese, Zoey.

Hi, I am Isel! I am Front office Administrator at CSI. Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, moved to Knoxville 4 years ago. I have one child his name is Liam. I began my dental journey at 18 years old after graduating High School, I always had a passion to help others and having the ability to be Bilingual is very important to our hispanic community. My goal is that all of our patient’s receive the best dental treatment. During my free time I love to spend time with my family, I love shopping and reading in my spare time.

Hi, my name is Reagan! I was born and raised in Johnson City TN, but moved to Knoxville a few months ago. I received my Dental Assisting license from Dental Staff School in March of 2024 and have been with Confident Smiles and Implants ever since! My favorite part about this job would be helping others achieve the smile of their dreams and giving everyone a reason to smile. In my free time I love to workout, spend time with family, and travel.

My name is Tabitha Giles and I’m a registered dental assistant here at Confident Smiles and Implants. I graduated from Dental Staff school in November of 2023 I started this profession because I wanted to help people transform their smiles to boost confidence and make a difference in their life. I’ve been married to the love of my life for 12 years. Our whole world revolves around our 8 year old daughter, Abbey. Besides spending time with my loved ones, I enjoy crafting and creating things.

Hi my name is Sienna. My family moved to TN in 2013 after my father left the Navy and joined the railroad. I started my fulfilling my interest in dentistry early this year by becoming a RDA with hopes to one day become a hygienist. I love to help people find a reason to smile! I earned my license from Dental Staff School and have been working for the best dental office since. In my free time, if im not working an odd iob, I love to read all genres of books, cuddle my cats, play games or go on an adventure with my boyfriend.  One of my dreams is to publish a fantasy book!

Hi, my name is Caroline! I graduated from East Tennessee State University in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and joined the team here at Confident Smiles and Implants. I am originally from Maryville, TN, and returned to my roots here in Knoxville to serve the community I call home. My favorite part of this profession is creating a welcoming environment and building relationships with my patients! Outside of the office, I love spending quality time with loved ones, exploring new culinary delights at local restaurants, and enjoying the outdoors.

My name is Laci and I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2017. I attended Middle Tennessee State University where I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science. I worked as a nutrition counselor at a medical clinic for a few years before deciding to go back to school for my degree in Dental Hygiene. I was born in Germany and have traveled all over the world while my father served in the Army. I am now proud to call Knoxville my home along with my husband and son, Bodie.

Hi my name is Brianna. I earned my Dental Assistant Certification at the Dental Staff School of Knoxville and joined the Confident Smiles and Implants team shortly after. Growing up in Roane County with an interest in dentistry, I decided to stay in the local area. In fact, my childhood dentist is what sparked my passion for teeth! In my free time I like to be outside and frequently go on hikes. An interesting fact about me is that I want to travel around the world.
